Hola...it's been a while!
While I was closed over the festive season, a heaven sent blot of lightening ensured that I had no choice but to focus on my family and we had a really lovely time.
It was nice to get our internet back earlier this week though and catch up on all my e-mails etc, just my apologies in the delay to all those who were waiting during this period!
I mainly decluttered over the holiday but I did get a few other projects around the house done.
I reupholstered the little telephone seat in our entrance hall
I also used some fabric & cornflower paste to "wallpaper" the glass cabinet in our kitchen. It was so easy I am now eyeing out all sorts of surfaces around that I can apply fabric too!

Bits and bobs around the house
I've been busy sorting out projects I've had in the pipelines for ages!
This week a shelf we have that is more functional than beautiful got a makeover...now all the dvds and cds are hidden from sight behind a curtain.
And I made this picnic blanket, it has a waterproof layer underneath so if the ground is a little damp you're still good to go!

Update & catch you next year
It's been a busy few weeks, but I saw off all the parcels yesterday and hope they reach their destinations safely.
We are off on holiday from early tomorrow morning and I can't wait, I am tired!!!
I haven't had time to blog lately so here is everything I snapped over the last little while.
I may blog some personal stuff over the festive season, and a few last bits I need to finish when we are back, bit other than that I am done for the year...the kids and I have some spring cleaning, baking and getting ready for Christmas we need to do!
