My little business idea

I've been busy with a little business idea and was waiting for my website, but sadly it's a case of the cobbler's children going without shoes at the moment and the website will be a while longer in the making.

In the meantime I've decided to start selling my Kid's Cutlery Set, personalised with each child's name.

Each set consists of a stainless steel spoon and fork which has the owner's name hand stamped onto it. The name is impressed into the stainless steel so cannot wash off.

As each item is hand stamped with love, please remember it will not be perfect, but it will be perfectly unique...which is the beauty & appeal of handmade items I like to think :)

I'm selling the sets for R85.00 each, excluding postage.

If you are interested you can e-mail me on whimsyandwhatnots@gmail.com

I'm also selling Words of Wisdom sets, which is a set of four coffee spoons with a special message stamped onto each one, they make great wedding or housewarming gifts.

Once the website is up and running I hope to offer a couple of other products too, here's a sneak peek at some of the ideas running through my mind at the moment.

A couple bits and bobs

I've been busy trying to sort out a little business idea I've had. I'm not ready to share that just yet but will as soon as I can.

In between everything else though I managed to finish these bits and bobs.

A scary Bubble Monster
A little mouse rattle
And a bushel of baby apples

Baby sackboy

This little guy was meant for someone but then commandeered by my toddler the moment I'd finished him...my toddler loves LBP. Guess I'll just have to make another one :)

Bunny *heart*

A little amigurumi bunny I made for a special little girl overseas.

DVD Storage

I couldn't find something that was the right size and affordable so I tried my hand at making some DVD storage. I decided on a fabric container with removable reinforcements so it is also washable, which I liked the idea of.

It turned out ok :)
